The Paris Stud

Now I have never really understood the whole 'Pre-Fall' concept. I am pretty sure that it is a sneaky marketing scheme..but anyhow, sometimes designers come up with some pretty hipping and hopping stuff.
For example.. Alexander Wang's collection was admittedly very simple, but it worked. As he said "My girl, she has got to go to work sometime."
Although this collection does have a certain depth to it, I must say that I definitely preferred his 'Pre-Fall 2009 Ready-To-Wear' simply because I thought it was more original, whereas this collection is more trend orientated with the baggy with tightness look and the mid calf boots.

ba dum ba dum ba daaaaa.... THE HERMES BIRKIN BAG FUND!!
I know what you are thinking. Because I am psychic. You are thinking "Wtf Zoe? This is a truly ridiculous notion. Number one: You will be saving those pennies for the rest of your life, Number Two: An average joe like you can't just rock up to a Hermes store and just casually buy a $12,000 bag! are you Anna Wintour? (Well clearly not) Carine Roitfeld? (I'll get there one day!) Or Lindsay Lohan? (Apparently she has a green ostrich skin Birkin... bitch).
Well to these questions I answer no. But I will say one thing. "I have a dream that my four little children (Named Ruby, Valentina, Tommy and Jane) will one day live in a world where the Hermes Birkin bags are just as accessible to them as they are to Victoria Beckham. oh and that they will be judged on the content of their character and all that stuff. I will leave you with a few of my favourite Birkin Kodak moments.. well they are up the top but whatevs.

Wunderkind Fall 09/10

When I think about the trends for Fall '09/10 I think brash shoulders, embellished tights, African queen and tassels, lots of them. But when I saw this picture of Wunderkind's Ready-to-wear Fall collection, I was pleasantly surprised. They have really thought of something different and have tried something new, as opposed to all of the Louis Vuitton devotee's who have pretty much breached the rights of plagiarism.

And although the shoulders are borderline Balmain, it still works in a printed-tights-with-a-turban kind of way.

Evolution of Man.

I love how Karl manages to maintain his relaxed demeanor even though there is a giant banana and (do I really have to say it?) right next to him.

I don't know if you have realised this, but your company 'Apple' makes the best products in the business. Should you want to keep making the best products you possibly can, I suggest that you sort out the issues that iMac desktop computers seem to have with uploading pictures to websites such as www.blogger.com
